Presentation of the getaway (about 1h30 of effective walking):

Departing from Pau center in a 9-seater minibus, experience the enchantment of the Ossau valley by letting yourself be guided on thousand-year-old paths , with exceptional viewpoints!

Our loop is designed to experience a real mountain walk, guaranteeing safety, pleasure, and discoveries .

You will be transported by the authenticity of these heights, where the millennial human presence is in harmony with nature .

After the walk, you will have well deserved a visit to the farm selected for you: let's meet the animals present (sheep and/or cows), let's taste the delicious cheese from the OSSAU valley!

About 1h30 of effective walking , elevation 120 meters, distance 3.6 km max, good physical condition required

In case of very hot weather, we will do a technically equivalent loop, but more shaded and very beautiful too.

Equipment to provide:

Hiking shoes, backpack, water bottle filled with water minimum 1L, hat/cap, and hiking stick (These elements will be loaned on site free of charge if absent or inadequate).

Also bring: Hot and cold weather clothing, waterproof clothing, 2 or 3 pairs of clean socks (including 1 thick one), sunscreen.

Car access : parking place de Verdun (1 euro for ½ day) ;

Access to the free COXITIS shuttle : ""Place Verdun Camou"" stop (the shuttle goes to ""Gare de Pau"" and ""Halles"" in particular.

Public toilets and cafes/restaurants are available near the meeting point.
